Lift is an art print I created based on a hot air balloon ride my wife and I took. We met the pilot with the other riders in a parking lot of a local business. We were then taken to an open field where our balloon was being inflated for the ride. The ride was spectacular and the scenery beautiful. What I like about this piece is the way it captures a mood from that moment. Using a gothic oil technique gives the piece that old world warmth which is exactly what I was looking for.
