Colorado Ski Slopes In The Summer
Colorado Ski Slopes In The Summer is a color photographic art print of the Arapahoe Basin Ski Area as seen from Loveland Pass. Heading west from Denver, you go under the Continental Divide using the Eisenhower Tunnel and drop down into a valley surrounded by mountains. The other alternate route is to take Loveland Pass which takes you up over the Continental Divide. This particular capture was taken in mid July with all of the mountains still showing snow above tree line. The setting is the drive up Loveland Pass looking west towards Arapahoe Basin Ski Area (note the strips of grass in the trees) with the snow capped mountains in the background.
