Colorado Continental Divide
Colorado Continental Divide is a color photographic art print of the continental divide west of Denver. Heading west from Denver, you go under the Continental Divide using the Eisenhower Tunnel and drop down into a valley surrounded by mountains. This particular capture was taken in mid July with all of the mountains still showing snow above tree line. The setting is Loveland Pass with the road in the foreground as it winds down towards the eastern portal of the Eisenhower Tunnel. You’ll note the storm clouds that have built to the north of the divide, which is normal for summer months in this part of Colorado.
