Description Human Interaction is an art print I created using an overlay quote from Luke 6:37. I created this print using a fauvism technique (Fauvism: a style of painting with vivid expressionistic and non-naturalistic use of color that flourished in Paris from 1905). As a Christian artist, I seek to make sure that the biblical quote I am using is a good marriage with the art print I put it on. I chose this art print because it reflects interaction between people and in this case a family. The family unit represents the human family and the way we interact with each other. Kirt Tisdale, Everett, Washington Member Since February 2013 Artist Statement I have been creating art since I can remember. I have been blessed with having my work featured in various venues. What drives me is the beauty in the world with which we live. I remember as a kid looking up at the clouds and watching them change shape...if they could only stay in one shape long enough for me to enjoy and appreciate them....but that's not how it works. What I can do though is take a moment and freeze it. The beauty around us needs to be savored, contemplated and appreciated. Good art invokes an emotional response either through the scene depicted or the colors used. I hope my work invokes the same in you.
