Description Heceda Head Lighthouse Complex - is an art print done in a sketching watercolor technique of a lighthouse. This technique uses sketching to create the image and soft colors to complete the look. The setting is the Heceda Head Lighthouse and caretakers quarters in the bluffs along the Oregon coastline. When considering an art print, the interior design of the room comes into play and the look you are going for with any given print comes into the decision process. This particular style of art print works best in a traditional type of interior design, but is flexible depending on the style of matting and framing used in the final display.Follow my work:TheWallGallery: https://thewallgallery.comBlog: http://thewallgalleryblog.wordpress.com/Twitter:https://twitter.com/KirtWallGalleryFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/TheWallGallery.KirtTisdaleCopyright 2021 Kirt Tisdale/TheWallGallery.com
Kirt Tisdale, Everett, Washington Member Since February 2013 Artist Statement I have been creating art since I can remember. I have been blessed with having my work featured in various venues. What drives me is the beauty in the world with which we live. I remember as a kid looking up at the clouds and watching them change shape...if they could only stay in one shape long enough for me to enjoy and appreciate them....but that's not how it works. What I can do though is take a moment and freeze it. The beauty around us needs to be savored, contemplated and appreciated. Good art invokes an emotional response either through the scene depicted or the colors used. I hope my work invokes the same in you.
