Water Pump
Water Pump is a sepia tone photographic art print of an old barn located in the Amana Colonies. I was on a photo shoot of farms around the Amana Colonies in Eastern Iowa. I love the focal point of this shot, which is the manual water pump located close to the stables to supply the needed water for the animals. I used a sepia tone finish on the photograph for that old rustic look. The sepia brown tones originated with film photography as part of the process to develop the prints in the 1800’s. Today, we can recreate that same vintage look digitally. This is my fave, just something about the view of old wood, old stone, and the sepia you have used! Wonderful!
