Denver Light Rail Platform At Union Station is a black and white capture of urban architecture that is the train station platform located behind Union Station In downtown Denver, Colorado. Union Station itself is over 100 years old and has been completely modernized while keeping the historic architecture the station has been famous for. Updating and expanding it into a modern transit hub serving Amtrak (the California Zephyr running from Chicago to Los Angeles) local RTD Metro transit and light rail. Located in the original Union Station building is a large hotel, meeting facilities and a variety of restaurants and shops. The hub is located at one end of the 16th Street Pedestrian Mall which runs through the downtown corridor connecting the other end to the state capital area.
