Amana Colony Barn is a black and white photographic capture of a barn. The barn is located in one of the Amana Colonies in Eastern Iowa just south of Cedar Rapids. The design of the barn is what caught my eye with the large opening for a hay wagon to pass through. The time of year was February, so mid-winter with no leaves on the trees. Because of the barren aspect of the trees, I decided to look at this capture in black and white. The monochrome approach captured the mood of the day at this time of year.
