"The Space Needle from Lake Union" is an art print I created using a fauvist oil technique. This technique focuses on bold abstract brush strokes and bright colors. The setting is Seattle, Washington looking across Lake Union just north of the downtown corridor. Most pictures of the Space Needle are from the Puget Sound looking east towards the city skyline. This perspective is of the Space Needle looking west across Lake Union and just focusing on the Needle without the high rises of downtown.
