Description Move That Mountain is an art print I created using a bible verse overlay (Matthew 17:20) on my photographic print of a small cloud floating above a snow capped mountain top. The location is near Lake Dillon in Colorado. Heading west from Denver, you go under the Continental Divide using the Eisenhower Tunnel and drop down into a valley surrounded by mountains. This particular capture was taken in mid July with all of the surrounding mountains still showing snow above tree line. I love the way this small wisp of a cloud was skirting just above the mountain range. As a Christian artist, I seek to make sure the bible verse I am using is a good marriage with the art print I put it on.Follow my work:TheWallGallery: https://thewallgallery.comBlog: http://thewallgalleryblog.wordpress.com/Twitter:https://twitter.com/KirtWallGalleryFacebook:https://www.facebook.com/TheWallGallery.KirtTisdaleCopyright 2019 Kirt Tisdale/TheWallGallery.com
Kirt Tisdale, Everett, Washington Member Since February 2013 Artist Statement I have been creating art since I can remember. I have been blessed with having my work featured in various venues. What drives me is the beauty in the world with which we live. I remember as a kid looking up at the clouds and watching them change shape...if they could only stay in one shape long enough for me to enjoy and appreciate them....but that's not how it works. What I can do though is take a moment and freeze it. The beauty around us needs to be savored, contemplated and appreciated. Good art invokes an emotional response either through the scene depicted or the colors used. I hope my work invokes the same in you.
